“go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. “Matthew 28:19-20
In the Bible we read story after story of God instructing men and women to leave
their homes, go into other parts of the world, and share His love with the people
there.
global velocity is an opportunity for you to do just that.
During global velocity you have the opportunity to apply
what you have learned throughout Epicentre about sharing and living
out your faith in another context and culture.
Trinidad and Tobago, a small island country located in the Caribbean, is where our
team will focus its ministry. As with any developing nation, extreme poverty is
a daily struggle for many people. In this context, you will have the opportunity
to put Jesus' love into action. The global velocity team
will take part in a range of ministries from working with children in local schools
and in the community to outreach events on the streets and in local churches.
global velocity is about moving from thinking locally to serving globally and seeing leaders and students released into missions.
